HRTS: HR Transactions System
This folder contains directions for using the Human Resources Transaction System (HRTS).
- HRTS Basics
- How do you get access to HRTS? What's the Table of Organization? How do you search HRTS? **New Users** and people looking for a HRTS Refresher should start here.
- Employee-level Services
- Reports and tools activated on the left menu when an employee is selected.
- Department-level Functions
- Reports and tools, such as the Position Control (aka Vacant Position Action) form that are accessible after selecting a department (e.g., via the Table of Organization).
- Position Control
- This folder contains all the online instructions and pdf guides for working with positions and how your department can account for them using Sinai Central.
- Personnel Actions
- Everything that was done on a P111 form is now handled through the Personnel Actions menu in HRTS. This folder explains how to do a Job, Salary Source, Salary, and Hour Change. Also included in this folder are instructions for how to give an employee a bonus, put an employee on a Leave of Absence and Terminate them.
- Performance Appraisals (Online)
- Instructions for the online Performance Appraisals.
- HRTS Departmental Policies
- This folder has a breakdown of how to create and edit the Policies that guide transactions at the Departmental level in HRTS. You will want to use this if the default system policies are not meeting the need of your Group or Department.
- Faculty Supplemental Payment Requests
- FPA Faculty may receive a contractual or one-time supplement to their salary based on agreements with the institution. This folder explains the supplemental payment process and how to fill out the online forms for FPA accounting.
- HRTS Moonlighting
- Instructions for processing Moonlighting transactions
- PEAK Admin Tool for Assigning Reporting Coordinators
- This tool, found on the HR menu, is used to assign departmental Reporting Coordinators who will be using the PEAK system.
