Going Further
Why bother attaching documents to a fund transfer? Well, there are several reasons. - First, attached documents aid as supporting details for transactions.
- Electronic receipts can be attached by uploading the document to Sinai Central as they already reside on your computer as a file. Paper documents can be scanned with a scanner creating an electronic record. After creating the electronic record, it can be uploaded.
As these are not replacing the originals, the attached documents stay with the transaction. For years, record keeping has involved keeping a supporting copy of the original in a filing cabinet attached to a printed copy of the transaction. With this function, all records of the transaction and supporting information can be maintained online. - You are not limited to what file type can be attached to the transaction*.
- Fund transfers are one of the few transactions in Sinai Central that does not support printing from the left hand menu. Fund transfers are recorded in the general ledgers, giving users a way of tracking the transaction.
