Understanding the four different levels of access to funds
Fund access is granted on a need basis by the owner, the department or finance to users. This access in turn allows them to create and review transactions. Understanding the different levels of access will help you to make better decisions on how to administrate the fund.
Funds as fundamental building blocks
Funds can be thought of as the fundamental building blocks of transactions in Sinai Central Finance and HRTS services. Whether you place a purchase order or change around an employee's hours, you inevitably will impact funding. Making sure that individuals have the correct access to a fund allows for users to complete on-line tasks. Giving users access only to what they need reduces the chance for error.Having access to a fund is a level of user control in Sinai Central. There are four different types of user access to a fund and responsibilities that go along with it.
Fund Owner - the ultimate signatory and responsible person for the fund.
Fund Administrator - a responsible user put in place to administer the fund for the user.
View/Order - user is given access to historical data on the fund as well as ALL prior finance transaction activity on the fund.
Order - user is given access to the fund only view and search on their own activity.
