Employment Verification Letter
Up one levelLog into Sinai Central and Navigate to the Employee Self Service
Everyone who has a Mount Sinai Medical Center life number, a social security number, and a date of birth can log onto Sinai Central. Here is how you can login/activate your account :
- Launch your browser and go to http://sinaicentral.mssm.edu.
- On the left side of the page, select the link for Sinai Central Home.
- Login. If you need to obtain a Sinai Central account or are locked out of the system, click the link for Login or Password Help. This leads you to a self-service system that is in place to assist you.

Employee Self Service > Employment Verification Letters
You may need to click on the Home link in the top right hand corner of the screen to view the top-level services
Select a type of employment letter and re-enter your password.

Select the details that you will like to be available in the letter. Your options are with or without showing your salary in the letter. You will then be asked to re-enter your password into the Sinai Central. Once entered successfully, you will be able to view the rendered letter in pdf (Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view the letter).
Going Further - Signature Required, Foreign Nationals, and Terminated Employees
- If you require a signature on the letter or no longer work at the Medical Center, please contact the Compensation Department at 212-731-7722 or you may visit them at 320 East 94th Street, 4th Floor.
- If you are a Foreign National you will need to contact International Personnel at 212-731-7744 for visa related letters. You will not be able to access an Employment Verification Letter through Sinai Central.
